Last night the Phoenix Coyotes were in San Jose to face the Sharks, they struck first but the Sharks were able to rally from behind and win the game in the shootout, which is the way we have described a fair amount of Coyotes games in the past. With that point the Coyotes were able to stay tight in the playoff race, they are still 7th in the West and they are still tied with the Pacific leader, although the leader has changed from the LA Kings to the Dallas Stars. The Coyotes have a chance to turn things around though, today they will be playing the Western Conference leaders the Saint Louis Blues, a team they have yet to beat, but if they can get a win it will definitely look good for the down the final stretch.
In addition to last nights game we have the news from the Pacific Division and some news from around the hockey world in the links below. Enjoy.
