good news is
they just lost to the ducks yesterday: hope the Coyotes learned something from the Tampa game and start strong.

Ok, who missed me? And more importantly, what have I missed?

Yeah...
Since…wow, probably since November, now that I think about it. Academic load got really heavy near the end of the semester and then swimming ate my life and then I went home for break and worked every freaking day and then I was in Florida and then it was Rush Week for the sororities and they kidnapped me and…now all of a sudden I can breathe again and I figured it was time to get back to hockey.

Well, with my ex-father-in-law coming in for the first weekend of November (LSU pt 1, awkward) and then two weeks later my mom coming in for six weeks. I’ve just got back to my normal routine and realized I’ve missed a big portion of a year.
Here’s to hockey. Cheers.

Hockey is a wonderful thing. I never want to go that long without it again.
But, true story: when I was in Florida for training trip, Coach took us to Universal for dinner after our meet. I managed to find the only restaurant in the park with a hockey game on. It was not the Panthers. It was not the Lightning. It was the Pens game and the team almost left me behind because I insisted on staying to watch the end of the period. I was the happiest swimmer on that bus…until they lost.

Pretty good period
Crowd here is unsettlingly small – every factor possible working against attendance though. Still healthy boos for Turris every time he touches the puck.
