Coyotes controlling a lot of the play, but shots aren’t getting to Roloson.

a lot of energetic play with few stoppages. given Tampa played last night, I have to think that’s advantage Phoenix.

they need to work them hard, keep them tired

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 6:25 PM MST up reply actions

the Coyotes deserved better than that the way they’ve played this period.

chasing the game

nothing smith could do that for that one. time to take back the game

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 6:33 PM MST reply actions

why is purcell standing alone that close to the goal?

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 6:41 PM MST reply actions

okay

that one is on Smith. he has to corral the rebound.

by AhwatukeeCoyote on Jan 21, 2012 6:41 PM MST via Android app reply actions

that was disheartening

Coyotes had a boatload of chances, Tampa just capitalized on theirs.

Definitely need to start cashing in on their chances. Hopefully lightning start to tire out as the game continues.

its been the depth lines and Martin Hanzal doing making things happen. top lines are absent again.

from the overhead it shouldn’t be a goal

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 7:27 PM MST up reply actions

I think the glove and puck were in but no conclusive evidence so call stands.

My name is Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire. I own a mansion and a yacht.

nah

if you look he moves his glove up to just in front of the line before the puck goes into it

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 7:29 PM MST up reply actions

From the replays they showed, I saw glove past the line, puck coming in & then glove & puck in front. Always missing frames when I want them.

I’d love slowmo cameras on & around the goal for these situations. The overhead always seems to have huge jumps in the movement for replays like this from one frame to the next.

Damn....

That shot may have been in but it won’t get called in. We’re the red-headed bastard stepchildren of the NHL so nothing can ever go our way.

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 7:27 PM MST up reply actions

I do like how the Coyotes got some momentum back. if only we can get the top 6 to wake up on the forecheck.

I can't figure out this team

Vrbata needs to step up

he hasn’t shown up that much on the score sheets lately he needs to get some pucks in the net

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 8:20 PM MST reply actions

well lets see how this turns out

although the theme of the game has been “Failure to Capitalize”

guess I was wrong, we just need one more

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 8:35 PM MST up reply actions

I think Roloson wants an Oscar. I didn’t see much of anything to really suggest an injury.

Living proof that hockey fans CAN be born in the desert.

his neck didn’t look good when he got hit by a player. Plus remember he’s old

by Dude, The on Jan 21, 2012 8:35 PM MST up reply actions

Way late with this comment.

I think Roloson realized that this hockey season is not going so well for him and decided to audition for a career change as the goalkeeper for the Venezuelan national soccer team.

lost the draw, lost the game

but I liked the fight they showed to the end. no such thing as a moral victory on the NHL sadly.
