A little annoyed that FSAZ is going to show the Suns postgame before cutting over to the ‘Yotes, but I guess that’s to be expected…

Hurrah for Modern Conveniences
Instead of listening to my professor at ASU lecture, I am reading an article for HKY 401 entitled “Phoenix Coyotes @ Anaheim Ducks – It’s Duck Season!!”.
I think I have my priorities straight.

4-2 Coyotes win, Vrbata gets back on the scoresheet with a pair; Biz and Parros drop the gloves

They need to rely a bit too much on Ryan Miller – not a lot of depth from what I’ve seen. There is talent there, but need a bit more depth all around.

Going back on the powerplay
Just under 13 minutes to go, 3 goals down…pretty much a must-convert!

Dammit Brookbank!
That was about 3 inches away from a power play goal!

Gah...
Brookbank saves a goal as Morris came in and had a great shot

I know, it is against our nature recently, but since he spent that week or so in the press box, he has been much, much better.

Ducks collapsing back
Allowing the Coyotes to bring the puck in and get a chance for a shot, but the Coyotes can’t seem to capitalize. Like the energy they are showing despite the score.

My Theory
Anaheim secretly hired Emilio Estevez to coach them and teach them soft hands and stuff like that and thats why they have been winning as of late
Figures Colorado would win tonight too
Not getting a lot of help from the rest of the conference.

It’s still January – no reason to really be watching the standings too closely. Coyotes just need to take care of their own game.

Better than the college team where the kid scored a hat trick all shorthanded on a single penalty kill…I think that is how it happened. Need to check the Puck Daddy archives for that one.

Apparently, not all on the same PK, but 3 shorties in a row.

I know the Bruins scored 3 shorties on the same power play a few years ago.

Tomorrow night
I want to see a huge scrap early on. Something to wake this team up and get them fired up for the Red Wings at home. At least they’re not going to have to sit on this one for long.

The Bright Side
Earlier in the season the Coyotes were a road team winning most of their games on the road. Maybe this shift is a sign that they are going to be a home team, which is good because they have a lot of home games coming up
