The latest batch of Coyotes prospects will be in town practicing and training with Coyotes coaches and staff, today through Sunday at the Peoria Ice Den. Fans are invited to watch the players on the ice Today, Friday and Sunday.

Random question about preseason games
Back in Sept 1996 (could have been in 1997…. I was in elementary school still), the Coyotes had an exhibition game in Tucson against the Calgary Flames. I realize this might have been a, “Hey, the state has a hockey team now!” thing, but why haven’t the Coyotes played any games down here since? I would definetely go…
(Hey, we had an independant league hockey team play at the Tucson Convention Center for two or three years and also have the UA play there…)
