This trade tells me one main thing
We were not even close on the negotiations.
I’m fine with this as I’m one who believes while bryz is an amazing goalie hes not worth the 6 million he most likely wants. Our system will make a good goalie look great

So begins our drop
Into the realm of mediocrity again.
Thanks CoG.

I'm
A mix of sad and meh over this
Sad cause I liked Bryz, he was solid, and was a good player for this team
Meh cause, well, we might get a better goalie for less.

I don't think this is a surprise to anyone
It’s sad to see him go, but I think Phoenix has a couple good options out there. It’ll be interesting to see who Maloney ends up going for in free agency.
I'm gonna state the obvious here...
but the coyotes need stability in ownership before they get any upgrades on this roster. the COG retainer really doesn’t do anything but delay the inevitable unless they can get a deal done. I see attendance dropping to single digit thousands this year if there is not an owner.
