The Opener is going to be interesting...
I wonder how many original Jets fans will stick with the Coyotes that evening.

I kind of assumes that the typical swing through
Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver would include Winnipeg to make it a 4 game road trip. Guess not.
Per Mare, Per Terras
Since they’re playing in the East we only play them twice so making that match up with the western canada swing would be challenging.

Well,
I was assuming a realignment like this:
Nashville to the SE, Winnipeg to the NW, Colorado to the Pacific and Dallas to the central.
Per Mare, Per Terras
Not happening until next season. THen that trip might happen.

I was referring to Mike Smith's (M&G) speculation a few weeks ago, actually.
I linked a story in my fanshot I published last night about a realignment that would be similar to the old system.
Per Mare, Per Terras
May not be that many “original Jets fans” there. Too early in the season, the snowbirds will not have arrived.
I’m sure there will be some. Hopefully the team finds a way to fill the stands with locals though. Ownership might help…

We’re going to kick your butts! ;)
I’m curious – how do you feel about Winnipeg fans wanting their Jets name back considering that Phx has claims to it?

I don't really care.
I think we should keep the retired sweaters, though. I mean…Howarchuk, Steen, Numminen, etc never played for the Atlanta Thrashers….
BTW, in a few minutes I am going to post a register for guest recaps for this season. It is something new we are going to try out (ran it by Travis earlier). You are welcome to get one of the Sharks games, if you’d like.

You know I use to blog – about politics, current events, parenting, etc. That I can talk to death about. Even religion I touched on. With all the hockey games I watch and go to, I still feel like a dummy at times. I don’t think I could write a recap.

Philly Trades
Well the rest of the conference just got tougher, while we struggle to just keep a few FA’s on our roster.
Thanks CoG!
Not quite down to the wire anymore
So, it looks like San Jose and LA are the only Pacific teams doing the home-and-home series to end the season. Anyone like the change?
