Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1972, beating the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. Thomas, who allowed just eight goals in the Final, was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy for the Most Valuable Player of the Stanley Cup playoffs. 

*This is not a repeat from '08(Celtics), '07(Red Sox), or '04 (Patriots).
