So maybe now we’re getting somewhere!
At the least it shows the benefit of checking a wider range of news sources than simply relying on the highly biased and hockey-obsessed media north of the border.
Another even-handed source is the Phoenix Business Journal which, obviously, has no vested interest other than providing accurate info for businesses and investors.
Phoenix Biz Journal appeared to confirm the story today.

Boy, it must have killed him to write this.
I don’t know about that. All he seemed to do is use some common sense and mix it with whatever. Of course the league’s US rights partner prefers a market in US over one in Canada. Of course, its rights holder would probably also prefer a team in Houston given the market size.
