The Coyotes announced today that they have recalled center Kyle Turris and defenseman David Schlemko from San Antonio. Turris was sent down temporarily to make room for defenseman Nolan Yonkman to be called up on Saturday. Schlemko is returning from a conditioning assignment after being out of action since January 17th against the Sharks when he sustained an upper-body injury.

In addition winger Ray Whitney won't be in action tonight after taking a lower-body injury early in the game against the Predators. That should mean that Turris plays and Lauri Korpikoski slots in on the Hanzal line.
