The big news yesterday in Coyotes Country was the team signing Martin Hanzal to a 5 year contract extension.   The other big news of the day was Brett MacLean being picked up by the Winnipeg Jets.  If the Jets keep the left winger on their roster it could make for even more interesting opening night in the Glendale.

Oh yeah,  Hockey's Back!   The season kicked off with 3 tilts last night.  Today there are 6 games on the NHL slate including two games at 10am MST involving involving the Desert Dogs rivals from Southern California.
