He only got into 48 games and 1 playoff game last year, do you guys see him playing more this season?
Pardon the ignorance, but I imagine he’s still the 12/13/14th forward, does Bissonnette figure to make the opening night lineup?
Aside from the tweeting and the fighting, he can be a good player (for a 4th liner, anyways). Energy, effort, physicality, etc. I remember in Pittsburgh in 2003 watching him in camp – back then he was a defenseman and his skating ability took him deep into the training camp. (I don’t think they ever intended for him to make the NHL team out of camp, but they definitely kept him around for NHL training/coaching). Just curious and now seems like as good a time as any to bring it up here.

As he got more ice time at the end of the season
he did show flashes of offensive ability. I don’t think he is strictly a goon anymore. I do think he will play more this season.

And both the coach and GM has stated they would like to give him more ice time. He’s a good forechecker and skates well. Perfect 4th line energy guy if he plays smart. The key is he’s got to not take penalties. I’m with Justin in that I think he sees more ice time this season.
