The Phoenix Coyotes defeated the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night in Glendale.  Coach Dave Tippet switched up his lines for the game and the changes appeared to spark the team.  No one benefited more than veteran Ray "Wizard" Whitney.  He scored two goals after being reunited with former linemates Martin Hanzal and Radim Vrbata.

In other news, The Kyle Turris contract situation came to the fore again yesterday due to his agent's comments to Pierre Lebrun.  His agent finally admitted that his client wants to be traded.  Another guy from last year's squad made news on Thursday.  Ilya Bryzgalov got shelled at home by the Winnipeg Jets of all teams.  Check out links to these stories and more in today's Tracks.
