The Phoenix Coyotes jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for a 5-2 win last night in Nashville. The Preds were missing three of their best forwards and it showed. The Coyotes used a blistering forecheck to take control of the game early and goalie Jason LaBarbera kept the mustard colored guys in check most of the night. The Desert Dogs return to the Valley to face the Winnipeg Jets in their home opener tomorrow afternoon.
