Elias- Jason LaBarbera has played 12 games- all on the road. That’s longest such streak to begin a season by any goaltender in NHL history

Yeah
Hopefully we get Briz back tomorrow because Barbs can’t play at home!
Bryz is starting tomorrow night per Tippett.

do you think its a coincidence or management thinks barbs may deter fans from coming?
it just seems odd… i know it unlikely, but wanted to ask nonetheless… I know that if I had my choice last year to watch a dbacks game where hudson or lopez started, I’d go with the hudson game everytime because i’m just not that big of a baseball fan… for me, hockey is different, but for some fans, Doan and Bryz may be the only players they know, so it could have something to do with it…
I highly doubt that would keep many people away.

i like the old hockey ritual of starting after a shutout, regardless of who you are...
Barbs didn’t get the start after his last one and then let in 6 goals a few games later… Bryz is of course “da man” but if Barbs is on a heater, why not let him continue? Thats how its often times done… if you sat Wolski for not scoring and a young guy comes in and gets a goal in his first game, you would probably give him another game up at the bigs right? oh wait, crap.
Welcome bwalsh18.
Definitely nice to see the captain back to his old self.

Thanks
It really is! Now if we could get a win streak together that would be sweet. I want a rematch with the Wings this April!!!
