Coyotes Cut 16 More Players from Training Camp Roster
The Coyotes have announced that they've cut the training camp roster down to 28 players. 14 Players have been sent to San Antonio. That list includes :
Forwards: Mathieu Beaudoin, Ryan Hollweg, Bracken Kearns, Josh Lunden, Brett MacLean, Alexandre Picard and Blair Reily
Defensemen: Jonas Ahnelov, Garrett Stafford, Michael Stone, Chris Summers and Nolan Yonkman
Goalies: Matt Climie and Al Montoya
Players that have to clear waivers before official assignment to SA: Climie, Montoya, Yonkman, Stafford, Picard and Hollweg
In additions Defenseman and first round pick from this year's draft Brandon Gormley will return to his junior club the Moncton Wildcats of the QJMHL
Shane Hnidy is out with a shoulder injury and has been released from this PTO

I thought MacLean might stick if he really stood out in camp, but since he didn’t no surprise he got send down. I didn’t think anyone else on the list had a shot at making the team.

Yep, the big question marks are Wellwood, Turris, and Ebbett. Ebbett has looked okay in the preseason as well, even though Wellwood and Turris are getting more press. Still think Ebbett winds up in San Antonio, though.
Wolski was moved back to left wing – so at least one of Wellwood or Turris is on – just a matter of two games before we see who…
