Your Phoenix Coyotes open the preseason tonight against the Anaheim Ducks. The teams released the rosters just a little while ago and you can get the full lists below. The competition is starting early in these games as it needs to since the team is traveling to Europe very soon. Everyone in competition for playing slots will be in tonights game making it more than exciting enough to listen to on the radio. All of the candidates for the center positions will be in action with new signing Eric Belanger, Andrew Ebbett, Kyle Turris and camp invitee Kyle Wellwood seeing time. Same thing on defense as all the young guys looking for a shot will be in Anaheim. Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Maxim Goncharov, Brandon Gormley, David Schlemko and Chris Summers will all attempt to outshine one another for the coaching staff.
The Ducks will do much the same as the only name of note playing will be Bobby Ryan though Luca Sbisa playing on Defense isn't bad either. Mostly it's the guys fighting for spots in the first game though. Unfortunately George Parros will not be playing so the BizStach vs. ParroStach matchup will have to wait for another day.
