Coyote Tracks - September 14, 2010 - Hockey? Edition

Oliver Ekman Laarson of Sweden blocks Marcel Mueller of Germany during the IIHF World Championship bronze medal match between Sweden and Germany.

Well we get our first taste of full speed hockey for this season as the first of two rookie games against the Kings will be played tonight at arena. There should be plenty of good prospects to watch, but if you'll be there checking out the game keep an eye on the defensive battle as Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Maxim Goncharov, Chris Summers and Brandon Gormley all fight for spots both in the main camp and possibly on the regular roster. All of them are top defensive prospects and could crack the club so it's all about their performance in camp. The game starts at 6pm Arizona time.

In addition, we have... LINKS!

The SBN Preseason rankings are out and the Coyotes are 6th. Probably thanks to me voting them #1 - YOTES #1! YOTES #1!
