Well here's what we've got through the afternoon. Please note, RFAs that have not been locked up as of right this minute haven't been included (Hanzal) and that these aren't going to be close to the combos, I'm just plugging in something close. **To be updated as necessary

and jovo in a dpair is like giving two eight year olds on a sugar high a can of gas and a box of matches and telling them to go out and play….

For defensive depth
Any chance Maxim makes it all the way to the pros this year? Or Jonas, since we’ve heard about him the last two preseasons?

I think
Yandle and Morris would be the better def pairing. They used to live together and are close, can read each other pretty well. Jovo and Aucoin would be pretty nice. We need to get Lombo and Stemp and I think we will be on the right track for next season. Doubtful it will happen but one can hope.
There are two coyotes inside every fan, a good one and a bad one, so which coyote do you feed?

I like Glen's pairings better though. lefty-righty combos are perfect.

Even though the last 2 years Perrault wasn’t on the Coyotes much, he still produced for the times he was. I think we are gonna miss this guy.

Actually I looked at your roster again, go ahead and put him on the first line, hes your best player after Doan.
Putting him on that line wasn't so much a reflection on him
as it was me not messing around with things and just plugging people in.

All of the above is true. It ignores the observation that the Coyotes can’t score on the power play! We should have asked for the option to refuse the penalties and continue five on five. Somewhere, and it isn’t in the current makeup, we need to find a guy with a killer shot who can make the power play work. Absent that, the current discussion is meaningless. We proved you can make it to the playoffs with a terrible power play. You can’t advance without a good one..
But the Coyotes
Found their powerplay in the playoffs. We couldn’t make it passed the first round because a major part of the team was injured. Doan. He pulls the team together when they need it and get through things that would have seemed impossible.
