Apologies for the background here, but as you can see, big news, if it is true. GMDM gets the ball rolling by re-signing goal scoring machine Scottie Upshall to a one year extension. Uppie was on his way to a career year (18 goals in 49 games, leading the Coyotes at the time) before a torn ACL derailed it in January. He is a favorite on Twitter (@ScottieUpshall) and a favorite of mine being a former Flyer.
Great news for the team to have this done. Now there are only 13 or so more UFAs and RFAs to deal with.

But remember GFallar GMDM still needs to resign Lombo as well.
BTW this prob means Stempniak is out the door
I'm not so sure.
I can see them signing Stempers as well as a 2nd liner – With Doaner getting older (not to mention being a hitting machine) he could fill that third line role with a lot of experience

sorry guys, but i dont see it. i’m a preds fan in TN and it’s always the same story with this guy. shows you some flash and some promise, then he’s hurt. “goal scoring machine”? c’mon now. i know he lit up my preds in a game last season before he went down, but the guy has been in the league nearly a decade and he’s scored double digit goals 2x (14,18) and has never played a full season. good luck.
