Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

To all my fellow Bandwagon jumpers: Where do we got from here?

Ranger fan here. Well I picked a dud on this one, a really thought the Yotes had a chance of making a long run. Great team though, it was fun while it lasted. Now onto the more important matter, WHERE DO WE GO BANDWAGON JUMPERS? I say we come together and decide on a team (maybe 2 teams, 1 from the west and 1 from the east) and all travel to their site as our own bandwagon. If they team(s) we pick loses we can just continue our jumping.

My personal picks are:

Capitals and the Wings. but because we may have Yotes fans joining us I have no problem with the Hawks. What do you guys think?

Hmmm...

East coast, I do not care

West coast: Anyone EXCEPT Detroit or Chicago…and I’m not the biggest fan of the Canucks either…so that leaves me with the Sharks

Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!

I will never

Jump on a Detroit bandwagon. I’d rather chop my dick off. So if your trying to peddle detroit bandwagon jumping on FFH thank you but no thank you. I myself as a regular on FFH am devoting my undying ALLEGIANCE to the sharks killing the wings, and the Nucks over Chicago. FUCK DETROIT!

Sharks, Flyers

Nope, not from CA with that logo, but I’d rather not pull for any team in the West but San Jose. Chicago’s getting rather stale, and not a Vancouver pal, and the Wings…heh, I digress.
Philadelphia’s where a lot of my family calls home – just assume pull for them anyway over the other PA team. Caps can have at it otherwise though, IMHO (sorry about polluting this fanpost with the Flyers, coleko, nothing personal).

As a resident of Phoenix...

…there is only the Coyotes. All else are just that; other teams.

Just because you live some place

doesn’t mean you have to only have one team. My team is the Coyotes, noone will ever replace them. I have alt favs because players that have moved from the Coyotes to other teams, like the blues. Tkachuck went there, and this was actually his last season. Roenick went to Philly, then back here to Phx. Also Carcillo went to Philly and he is a damn good player. Also there is nothing wrong with rooting for a team that is playing a team you absolutely hate. Most real hockey fans, who have followed the games for years, players up the ranks of AHL to NHL, the stats, and the drafts usually have way more than 1 team.

I understand cheering for players to do well, and the whole bit about my enemy’s enemy is my friend. I took this post to mean something about the impending probable possible move of the ’Yotes to some other city. My apologies my comment was written in a cranberry/vodka induced state where I could not accept the team moving.

Hmmm, I will definitely become a Sharks fan in the next round. Don’t know who to root for in Canucks v Hawks. Still a bit conflicted there. It will probably be Nucks in the end, but I can’t say I am fond of either team.

In the East….. My undying love of Mario Lemieux may always earn the Pens a little sympathy from me. And I guess I’ll admit that I have been warming up to Crosby lately. I do have fond memories of the Pens beating Detroit in the Finals last year.

If the Caps advance, I’ll root for them. I don’t like Philly very much. I am indifferent to Boston.

Sharks

I just like rooting against the wings, I have despised them all my life. Especially Darren McCarty. Just a douche bag on skates, and after being at the game last night, I see alot of McCarty in that douche bag Bertuzzi’s game. Go Coyotes 2010-2011! Pick up Kovalchuk for some more offense;) Great season Coyotes, I just hope we can keep this team together for another year…

Welp

the Coyotes and the Sabres bowed out already, so I have no idea who I’d be most happy to see win. I guess it’ll have to be in terms of teams I don’t want to see win it. Certainly want to see the Red Wings suck eggs, and the Canadiens certainly don’t need another championship. The Flyers give me an ill feeling dating back to the mid-90’s when I was a little tyke watching the Sabres. The Bruins aren’t evil, per se, but man do Boston fans annoy me. It would be cool to see the Sharks or Canucks win, though, given that neither has ever won. I have nothing against the Blackhawks, though, they might be my first choice.

Life is not a flower.

Flyers...

Have several former Coyotes and Sabres players on their roster (Boucher, Carcillo, Briere)…have amazing fans (like me)…history (bloody)…and haven’t won in a long time…

Yeah, it’s probably not the easiest sell…but if a lot of folks here jumped on the bandwagon I could keep people well informed without pissing off everyone with Flyers content ;)

My pick for the East

Is for the Flyers and Habs, don’t really like eastern conf teams much because the fans think no hockey should be out west. As for the Western conf finals, Sharks vs the Nucks.

I don’t know that the east fans don’t think that hockey should be out west. It’s more that they just don’t see a lot of it. When I lived in NY and Philly, it was just too hard to stay up and watch a game that started at 10:30 PM if you had to get up the next day (and this is back before center ice so the games weren’t even televised). So I don’t think it’s that they don’t think it should be here, they are just woefully uninformed of what goes on out here.

I just

got an awful taste in my mouth, sorry, but I wouldn’t be angry if they won.

I don’t like the Flyers. And I don’t much like Carcillo, so him being there doesn’t win them any points from me. I will definitely be rooting for Boston in that series.

I have been a casual Pens fan for a long time. They were always my team in the East. I wouldn’t normally root for Montreal. But, I was really impressed by Halak in the last 3 games of round 1. He didn’t play well against the Pens. But, I’d love to see the Habs give the Pens an interesting series.

It’s going to be Sharks and Nucks for me in the West, I think.

Just go to whichever team wins the Stanley Cup like all of the other bandwagoners do.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.
