it shouldn't rest
on one man’s shoulders… even if that man is Shane Doan. Some of that vet presence in the room needed to be a bit more than just present?
If Tippett can’t find a solution for our apathetic, pathetic, soul destroying power play, we are going to see this kind of loss again.
ah well, did we really expect to steal 2 in a row at the Joe? LOL (yes, I know we really thought we could)
Now we’re tied… 2 – 2, we win on Friday… we try to finish them off in game 6. OR we win on Friday, give them a little hope in game 6 and bring it back home for game 7 so the faithful can watch them give the performance of their lives and move into round 2.
Works for me.

I dont get it..
when doan went out for game 3 everyone else on the yotes turned up their game 3 notches, to be honest i was scared that was going to happen last night again. In all fairness i think detroit stepped their D up a little bit. This series is so back and forth, it just impossible to tell who is going to show up for either side any given night.
I think there’s a big difference between seeing the captain going down and being a man down in the lineup and then having him just be out for the night entirely. It’s on everyone though and I’m sure Tippett will have lots to say at practice over the next few days. I expect a spirited affair in Game 5…
