Coyote Tracks - Thursday March 4 Edition

Lots and lots of coverage yesterday from the trade deadline.  Coyotes were pretty darn active (7 TRADES?!?!?!) and I think we can agree that in GMDM we trust...it will be fun to see some of the new players in action tomorrow.

LAST NIGHT'S NHL SCORES:  PHL 4 - FLA 7; WSH 3 - BUF 1; VAN 6 - DET 3; EDM 2 - CHI 5; MIN 4 - CAL 0 (Yay first round draft pick getting better and better!!!); COL 4 - ANA 3

Ottawa scoreboard plays Canadian goals during 'Star Spangled Banner' - NYPOST.com
I happen to think that this was probably just a mistake, but if not...go Canadians...that is some funny crap, especially doing it against the Rangers with Tortarella on the bench...that guy drives me nuts.

Coyotes will welcome back Peter Mueller tonight as they take on the Avs.  Wojtek Wolski gets to make a great first impression...Coyotes really need to stop this losing streak which has reached a season-high 3 games without a single point...Go 'Yotes!!!

It’s just what they call themselves…being from Philly I can appreciate the fan-group monikers. The Phillies always had a whole bunch of groups in the stands…The Wolfpack, Padilla’s Flotilla, Burrell’s Babes, Howard’s Homers…good times.

And while I consider myself somewhat of a Fandle, I have to admit that most of the Fandles at recent games seem to be shirtless 10 year old boys. Oh Keith.

I forgot about the large group of shirtless ten year olds…I wonder if Keith met them at the zoo or something?

Missing Link?

Not sure how you missed this, perhaps it came out after you created the links post last night. But the article on the Coyotes website about Doan and Nash in their fighter jets was rather hilarious. Not normally a huge fan of Dave Vest’s investigative journalism, but this was fairly entertaining. And no, I have no idea how to make a fan post.

We dealt with Doan and Nash in their fighter jets earlier in the week. I think I just posted to AZCentral’s article about it.

http://coyotes.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=519313 – there’s the link to the article though for those that haven’t seen it…good stuff.
