Panthers Defend Vokoun...as they should
Look, I'm as happy as anyone that Tomas Vokoun allowed the fluky last minute goal to Radim Vrbata that allowed the Coyotes to pull out 2 points last night...but, as we discussed in the gamethread, the "mock cheering" that Vokoun was receiving from the home crowd was classless. I would hope that faced with a similar situation, we in Phoenix would not do the same to Ilya Bryzgalov.
Anyways, Puck Daddy has the highlight and commentary from Bryan McCabe, and it is all spot on. It's been a rough season for Vokoun playing in front of a team that has let him down over and over again...and I completely forgot that Ballard knocked him out cold earlier in the year too...bad Ballard!
