Where the heck has Patrick Lauder been this season?

With it being St. Patrick's day and all, I got to thinking: Does anyone know what happened to the Coyotes official anthem singer this season?
During the last few lean years, Patrick Lauder has been there represent'n at nearly every single game! This year when the team's finally kickin' butt, he only shows up once or twice a month!
He was there on the 6th, and they still introduced him as the team's official anthem singer. But then on the 10th he's gone again. Seriously... nobody else but Patrick should be singing "Oh Canada" at our games. Where did the Coyotes find that singer they used for the Canucks game???
Anyone know what's going on? Why isn't Patrick singing, and why are the Coyotes subjecting us to so many nasty-bad renditions of the national anthems? Maybe Travis or one of the other connected bloggers can get the scoop from Doug Moss for us.

Here's what happens...
All those “Recording Artists” or sometimes just some of the super nervous people that maybe shouldn’t have sang the anthem, actually pay for or buy a hundred tickets in order to be able to sing. The recording artists I get and they haven’t been horrible, but they aren’t great either. The random people that do it have been pretty painful to listen to, but it’s helped sell tickets a little I guess. Some of the others are people that auditioned and they let sing, but I agree. What’s the point of an “official” anthem singer if he’s not the one singing?

My god...
this year has been pain on the ears come anthem time. What’s amazing is that when they do a military night, they find completely kick ass singers from the armed forces. Some of those folks do a better job than our official anthem singer.
Hopefully, Patrick will be back in full force come playoffs time, because it has been painful…

Some of these “singers” have been a downright embarressment! I can imagine what visiting teams and fans must think when subjected to their messed up renditions of national anthems. Sometimes I wish I did live in the east valley so as not to be subjected to this. So these people are paying (by buying tickets) to subject us to this noise? Reminds me of Roseanne. Is this what the Coyotes want to be equated with? Patrick does such an excellant job – one that all fans enjoy and can be proud of.
