Coyote Tracks - Wednesday February 3rd Edition

An exciting win in Nashville by the resilient Coyotes last night.  Good times were had by all in the gamethread - please join in the fun on Friday when the Coyotes play the Blackhawks.

Scores from last night as only one Eastern team was able to beat a Western foe:  Was 4 - Bos 1; NJ 0 - Tor 3; TB 2 - Atl 1; Van 2 - Mtl 3; Min 2 - Dal 4; Cbs 1 - Col 5; Phx 1 - Nsh 0 (SO); NYR 1 - LAK 2; Det 4 - SJ 2

Doan takes top honors in the Fantasy world; big week for Keith Yandle as well, as he takes 3rd Star - didn't realize he was a PLUS 7 for the past week...crazy good.

That would be me. I still contribute to SC from time to time.

Good to know – really liked the article, and I definitely agree that anything this year playoffs wise is gravy, but the real test is going forward with the young players. So far, Tippett has seemed hesitant with them (guys like Porter and Boedker get called up to fill in for injured players, but are healthy scratches most nights anyway). Hopefully they can get the right coaches in San Antonio to implement a similar system and then these guys will be ready to perform the way Tippett expects them to in the NHL.

The Yotes have been on my “quietly follow” list since the JR days, since Roenick was my favorite player growing up. Since then, I still got a soft spot for Shane Doan and I’d like him to taste some success. Just not at the expense of the Sharks!
