Ryan Miller led Team USA to a huge win last night over Canada...

USA USA USA!!!  Canada can't get the job done in front of the home team and now either Canada or Russia is guaranteed not to medal in Vancouver - crazy!  Puck Daddy wants to put a lot of blame on Brodeur for this one, and he probably has some valid points.

In other Olympic news, the Russians beat the Czechs despite a goal from Milan Michalek and solid defensive play from Zbynek for the game.  The game turned on a very huge hit by Alex Ovechkin on Jaromir Jagr midway through the third...

Finally, in our short Monday edition...

Bolts financial struggles echo Coyotes, but Tampa's no Phoenix
Not sure why Tampa is no Phoenix - past success does not equate to future fans and Tampa has no vested roots in hockey either.  Kansas City and Pittsburgh have great baseball traditions, but with those teams sucking for a long time, fans aren't showing up.  Until Tampa turns it around, fans aren't going to be coming to games...much like Phoenix was earlier this year...as we saw right before the break, winning will bring the fans.
