Coyote Tracks - TGIF!! February 12 Edition

Hey, it's Friday - happy times.  Coyotes play tonight in Colorado, check back later for the game preview and join us for the gamethread.  We're down to the last two games before the Olympic break and the roster freeze is today or tomorrow, so we might see the Coyotes look to make a quick move.  Sources on Twitter seem to imply the Coyotes are shopping Peter Mueller...I'll reserve any and all judgment until I see what they do.

If you didn't see the end of the Oilers-Kings game last night, for shame!  Oilers survive a penalty kill in the overtime and then score 3 times when facing sudden death in the shootout and win on a goal by Lubomir Vishnovsky in the 10th Round...Kings still get a point on the late goal by Ryan Smyth, but the Coyotes maintain a little separation.

Last Night's NHL Scores:  Buf 3 - Car 4 (OT); Was 5 - Ott 6; SJ 3 - Det 2 (SO); Bos 5 - TB 4; Van 3 - Fla 0; Dal 3 - Cgy 1; Edm 3 - LAK 2 (SO)

For your Friday whimsy (or to pump you up for the last work day of the week)...check out the new Flyers intro video.  Only in Philadelphia would the video so blatantly promote fighting, but for those of us that miss our Dan Carcillo, he has a nice starring role...

I think it's perfectly clear that both the Flyers and Coyotes won in that trade last year...

Enjoy the games tonight and tomorrow...not sure exactly what we'll be doing with the Coyote Tracks columns during the Olympic break, but I'm sure we'll keep posting throughout, so make sure to check in regularly.  Enjoy the Olympics - go USA!!!  And Coyotes players on other teams (just don't go getting hurt or anything!)
