In a somewhat surprising move, the Phoenix Coyotes sent rookie defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson down to their AHL affiliate San Antonio Rampage this morning. Ekman-Larsson had seen his ice time slowly decrease as some of the more veteran guys started playing better and coming back from injuries. I still think he was playing better than guys such as David Schlemko, but we'll have to see how Garrett Stafford does in his first game with the Coyotes. OEL as fans call him has recorded 3 assists and was a +1 in his 14 games this season.
