Today got CRAZY in a hurry. So here's today's game preview in bullet points because I'm in a hurry.

• Jason LaBarbera gets the start tonight after being impressive in relief of Ilya Bryzgalov on Saturday. LaBarbera was perfect after coming in saving all 15 shots he faced, but the team couldn't win the shootout though LaBarbera got it to the 6th round at least.
• Scottie Upshall was activated off the IR and should be starting tonight. This is a little ahead of schedule as The team had said it would be a couple of weeks just the other day. 
• The Sharks will likely start Thomas Greiss again as Evgeni Nabokov started against the Kings last night and since Greiss has been pretty solid against us so far this year.
• The only Coyote still out due to injury is Kurt Sauer who has been out since the beginning of the year. No word on when he might return yet.
• Fun Fact: When Petr Prucha scores the Coyotes are 7-0-1. So yeah.
• The Sharks have scored only 5 goals in the 4 games they've had against the Coyotes this year.
• Ed Jovanovski is out serving the first game of his 2 game suspension.
• The Coyotes are now in a tie for 5th with Nashville, trail Colorado by 1 for 4th and are only ahead of the Canucks by 1 point. In other words, we could really use the points tonight.

Winnik had an absolutely monster (TM Pierre McGuire) shift in the Isles game where the Islanders had two guys trying to get out from behind their own goal and Winnik hemmed them both in on his own for a good 20-30 seconds. It really got the crowd going and everyone was out of their seats cheering. He really deserves to get a goal one of these days...
