Updated Training Camp Roster - Updated 9/22

 

Thursday 9/24 - Al Montoya, Shaun Heshka, David SPina, Joel Perrault and Jeff Hoggan sent to San Antonio.

Tuesday 9/22 - Ryan Hollweg sent down to San Antonio.

Monday 9/21 - Kyle Turris, Viktor Tikhonov, Francis Lessard, Chad Kolarik and Jeff May have been sent to San Antonio.

Sunday 9/20 - The following players have been sent to the San Antonio Rampage training camp:

Goaltenders: Joel Gistedt, Josh Tordjman
Defensemen: Jonas Ahnelov, Chris Frank, Nick Ross, Sean Sullivan, Sean Zimmerman
Forwards: Justin Bernhardt, Mitch Fritz, Colin Long, Stefan Meyer, Andrew Orpik, Matt Watkins

In addition, defenseman Ross Lupaschuk and forward Aaron Downey have been released from their professional tryout contracts. (From Coyotes Press Release)

Thursday 9/17 - Mathieu Brodeur (D) - Cape Breton (QMJHL), Jared Staal (RW) - Sudbury (OHL), Michael Stone (D) - Calgary (WHL) have been returned to their respective junior teams.

 

Tuesday 9/15 - Tim Billingsley (D) – Mississauga-St. Michael’s (OHL), Jordan Szwarz (RW) – Saginaw (OHL) and Justin Weller (D) – Red Deer (WHL) have been cut from the Training Camp roster and returned to their junior teams. (per Coyotes Press Release)

Fair to good. He could see some time as the #7 defenseman most likely though so he won’t be a regualr starter if he makes the team.

SA, good luck with him. He played for the Sundogs most of last season. He is a great guy with lots of potential, but unless he can learn to cover his five hole and get up quicker once he’s down, he’s never going to make it.

He may end up going to Las Vegas unless the Coyotes decide to cary 3 goalies until they figure out the backup spot.

Interesting they sent down Turris. I knew they would send May, Kolarik, and Lessard down.
