Sundogs sign former nemesis Konrad Reeder

Stay connected for news and updates

Yesterday the Sundogs announced a signing I had been hoping for over the past couple seasons. Konrad Reeder is no longer a nemesis but a member of the team. The 27 year old All-Star winger had 31 goals and 39 assists last season with the Colorado Eagles, and 41 goals and 67 assists with the New Mexico Scorpions in the 2006-2007 season. Over the past three seasons, 64 of Reeder's 217 points have come against the Sundogs. Everyone, including Head Coach and General Manger Marco Pietroniro, agree that it will nice having Reeder score those goals for us instead of against us.

Reeder has speed, impressive hands, and a great scoring touch; all of which the Sundogs needed more of last season. Reeder has always been a player I didn't like only because he played for other teams. He will be a great asset on the ice and fit in well with the community. This signing shows the seriousness with which Sundogs' management is approaching the upcoming season and their dedication to bring back the cup.
