He's saying that the Reinsdorf deal "cannot be approved as a matter of law" and that "there are no qualified bidders" based on terms set by the court.

The article also said that there would be more by the deadline for filing objections which is tomorrow.

I'm very surprised

he said “no bidders” instead of “everyone but Balsillie”. Man, after reading the debate regarding this case on From The Rink and Hamilton/Arizona newspapers, it is almost guaranteed this thing is going to be so much of a cluster**** that them Desert Dogs are gonna have to stay in glendale for 09-10. I know the power of lawyerz, this is NOT gonna be finished by october. NO.

THere’s no way the team moves for the coming season no matter how much the PSE group insists it can be done.

There’s something we can definitely agree on. They’re nuts if they think the team’s moving in the next 10 months.

I can’t see them being out of PHX for the 09/10 season, but they’re either leaving in 10/11 with Balsillie or in 13/14 with Reinsdorf. The writing is on the wall, Reinsdorf is just as slimy as Balsillie, just a little more political and patient. For the sake of Yotes fans, I hope you can find a serious local bidder that really wants to keep the team there and has a ton of cash. Seems like it’s just a bunch of vultures flying over the team right now.

Here's what you guys do.....

Howdy all,

Greetings from Canes Country, home of the Carolina Hurricanes. I have a way to keep the Yotes in Glendale. When the lottery gets to 400M, play it. Though you’ll end up with a "mere $200M plus change, the banks can loan the rest.

Hell, if I won that much money, I’d consider doing that but with the wife getting at least half when her lawyer gets through with me…..

I think many if not all of us over at Canes Country hope that someone comes along, buys the Yotes and KEEPS them in Glendale. We “sunbelt, non-traditional market” teams need to pull and support each other.

If money's the root of all evil then why do so many
churches brow beat their members for more?
