• Don't forget to Mark your calendars Coyotes fans! This Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 is the Coyotes Open House where Mikkel Boedker, Keith Yandle, Peter Mueller and Viktor Tikhonov will be making an appearance. Then Friday the Coyotes are hosting a Draft Party at Buffalo Wild Wings on Scottsdale Road and the 101 from 3:30 until 5:30.
• On NHL.com Bill Daly answers some questions about what happened in court yesterday and what this all means for the fans.
• It's a couple of days old, but Bob McCown holds an intervention for those still supporting a move to Hamiltion. It's a little harsh I suppose, but interventions aren't about being nice...
• There are bunches of stories about the Reinsdorf deal coming in on Friday from the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, Sports Illustrated and the Phoenix Business Journal.
• Roc from the Roc and Manuch show on The Fan 1060AM wrote this piece up on the background of Jerry Reinsdorf since many valley sports fans probably aren't that familiar with him. Nice to see some media support in this town for once.

• Fear the Fin has their predictions about what will happen with the Sharks at the draft.
• Defending Big D is tired of STILL hearing about Brett Hull's foot being in the crease and they're convincing themselves that Oliver Ekman-Larsson is the best thing that could happen to them.
• Earl Sleek makes up some junk about why he hasn't been posting so much lately. Not sure if i'm buying it, but it is what it is.

The Best of the Rest

• The Mock Draft continues over that From the Rink. Not a lot of surprises really and as we get later and later in the draft it's kind of a guessing game as to what GMs will be doing.
• Darren over at Silver Seven Sens breaksdown the 10 biggest draft steals of the last 10 years. Just more reasons to hate the Red Wings really...
• Bird Watchers Anonymous has a good piece about where to find the good players in the draft. Basically don't take D in the 1st round unless they are REALLY good.
