[Coyotes Tracks will be our new somewhat daily link post to find stories about the Coyotes and other important news from around the NHL, or other good stuff found on hockey blogs. If you've got something you want included add it in the comments and I'll do my best to get it updated.]
Coyotes Related
- Don't forget to Mark your calendars Coyotes fans! This Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 is the Coyotes Open House where Mikkel Boedker, Keith Yandle, Peter Mueller and Viktor Tikhonov will be making an appearance. Then Friday the Coyotes are hosting a Draft Party at Buffalo Wild Wings on Scottsdale Road and the 101 from 3:30 until 5:30.

It's a couple of days old, but Bob McCown holds an intervention for those still supporting a move to Hamiltion. It's a little harsh I suppose, but interventions aren't about being nice...

There are bunches of stories about the Reinsdorf deal coming in on Friday from the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, Sports Illustrated and the Phoenix Business Journal.
-
Roc from the Roc and Manuch show on The Fan 1060AM wrote this piece up on the background of Jerry Reinsdorf since many valley sports fans probably aren't that familiar with him. Nice to see some media support in this town for once.

Fear the Fin has their predictions about what will happen with the Sharks at the draft.
-
Defending Big D is tired of STILL hearing about Brett Hull's foot being in the crease and they're convincing themselves that Oliver Ekman-Larsson is the best thing that could happen to them.
-
Earl Sleek makes up some junk about why he hasn't been posting so much lately. Not sure if i'm buying it, but it is what it is.
The Best of the Rest

The Mock Draft continues over that From the Rink. Not a lot of surprises really and as we get later and later in the draft it's kind of a guessing game as to what GMs will be doing.
-
Darren over at Silver Seven Sens breaksdown the 10 biggest draft steals of the last 10 years. Just more reasons to hate the Red Wings really...
-
Bird Watchers Anonymous has a good piece about where to find the good players in the draft. Basically don't take D in the 1st round unless they are REALLY good.

I want a free shirt :(
But there is no way I can be there anywhere near early…and I want a big enough crowd that showing up late will not be in the first 2000. Bad catch-22 here…
World Ph*cking Champs! That was fun - let's do it again...

Tonight's Event--A very good turnout
I attended the open house tonight which started at 6. When I arrived at 5:45 and there were already about 1,000 people in line. The autograph lines were already at least 150 people deep when we first walked in a little after 6 and just got longer, yet the players were not scheduled until 7. It was hard to get to a ticket rep because they were all so busy with people in the crowd. I overheard one rep say this way exceeded their expectations and I asked the front door security guy for an estimated crowd count. It was about 3,000 he said. Yes there were some freebies like hot dogs, Pepsi’s and Tshirts but I did not drive 60 miles round trip for giveaways. We need the support and 3,000 or so were out there as well. This is a good message us Coyote fans are sending to the critics, doubters and outright slanderers out there. They are flat out wrong. Doug Moss announced they are already planning another open house the week of July 6th.

A nice way to close out the season by Tiki. Wish we would've been there to celebrate - darn friends and their "weddings"...whatever.
Hope to see everyone next season...when we make the playoffs damnit!](http://cdn3.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/42739/default_small.jpg)
