Playoffs Round II - Day 1: Go East! ('cuz I Hate the Rest of the West!)

I have to say that there's no one left I like in the West. I was rooting for the Blues and Jackets and look where that got me. Absolutely nowhere. Sweeps for Detroit and Vancouver. Not exciting. Because of it we now get a first round matchup between The Canucks and Blackhawks in round 2. Don't get me wrong, I'll be watching it, because Playoff hockey beats just about everything else on TV (Except my interview with 12 News on at 6!!!), but I'm not gonna be happy about it. They're all that's on tap for tonight, so here ya go!

Chicago Blackhawks @ Vancouver Canucks - 6:00PM - Versus HD

I don't really know who I like in this series yet. Maybe like is the wrong word though... I don't know who I think will win this series yet. That's better. Right now though I'd have to go with the Canucks. The Blackhawks will keep the series tight, but Luongo has been outstanding in goal and Goaltending can steal a lot of games. Pair that with the Offensive unit and they've got it where it matters. One thing going against them is that they haven't played in about a week. The Chicago had to go 6 games after the Canucks swept the Blues and so there could be a little rust in the first game or two. If Chicago wants a chance to take the series a road win early would be a big help. Alright. Game on in about a half hour so hopefully we'll see some people over here.
