Thrasher fan here
It’s nice to hear that they are committed to making hockey work in Arizona and have faith that it can turn around. This news has surely angered citizens of Winnipeg as this news has brought their focus now on the Atlanta Thrashers as the team they are hoping fails. I was challenged by a former Jet fan to argue my case for having a hockey team in Atlanta. That’s like asking a mother to argue the case for their child. Well, instead of making any legitimate points the attack was just a bullying attempt and nothing more than a cheap shot on a city and a fan base. I’m sure you guys are use to this from these degenerate fans of a dead franchise, constantly jumping at others misfortunes with a feeble hope that a team will end up back in Winnipeg. So news like I read hear make me happy for the fans of the Coyotes and those that are passionate and care about their team. Best of luck to both our franchises, we definitely deserve it after our years of suffering. More importantly, I’m happy to hear this news because I’ve become increasing unnerved by Winnipeg fans and any bad news for them is good news for me.
SuperStar Fred McGriff gives this post his "full endorsahment"!
