Japers is crazy! It is scary how empty Verizon Center used to be back in the day…I went to a game around Christmas in 2006 and it was dead…hopefully that will be Jobing.com’s story in a year or two…

I grew up in DC area. I started going to Caps games in ’81, the year before the “Save the Caps” campaign. I have seen both Cap Centre and VC full and half empty. I just went back in October and was amazed that the whole town was talking Caps hockey. Nice change. Proof that if the team is winning the people will follow.

That it is. In addition to Ovi, you’ve got good quote guys like Laich & Bradley. Hard to not to like the guys on the team. Not an Avery in the lot.

I’d say that reffing in general = Terrible. One of the other SBN blogs had a measurement of home penalty difference and the refs that did it worst. Have to see if I can dig that up.
